We are advocates of the fixed pole method of longnetting, devised many years ago by Glenn Waters and modified by us to include the use of sliding grommets for longnet poles which make it easy to adjust net height to suit prevailing conditions. On our pages you will find details of this system, including our ‘Pro-Netmaster’ longnet basket which really does make setting out and picking up a longnet much easier. We sell all the parts of this system separately so you can update your equipment without replacing it all. e.g. you can add our poles to your longnet.
