BODYGRIP SETTING INSTRUCTIONS

Extend spring so it is pointed directly away from trap. Then grip and compress spring.

These traps are widely used by wildlife managers and trappers throughout the United States. Their experience proves that these traps work equally well on the ground, suspended, submerged in water, under ice, or when covered with light snow. However, they should not be used where they might take non-target animals.

Keeping spring compressed, pull trap frames together with other hand. Engage the safety clip over both spring arms at the trap end of the spring and slide it back towards the spring loop.

Recent refinements in the MAGNUM SERIES have made these traps even more effective to use.

Position trigger and dog at desired location along frame and then set trigger in preferred notch of dog.

Every BMI BODYTRAP has a 4-way trigger that fires the trap when an animal pushes the trigger from any direction including the side with a new trigger wire to control the strike area.

Be sure trigger is secure within notch of dog. Then grip compressed spring and release frames slowly. Disengage safety clip when the trap is in position. Spring can be swung to side if necessary for desirable setting position.
