FENN MOLE TRAPS & INTRODUCING THE "MAGNUM TALPA MOLE TRAP"

fenn scissor mole traps in action

There are numerous types of mole traps on the UK market at present.
Some are very efficient, some are not. It would be true to say that much depends on the knowledge and experience of the person using them.

We now offer two types.

The 'genuine' Fenn scissor type mole trap.

The Fenn Mole Trap, a well-proven trap has been in use for years and are the choice of many professional mole catchers. They are supplied in bare metal un-plated form, although springs are made from galvanized material. They are compact traps, easily carried in quantity, with each trap weighing approximately 8oz and standing about 150mm (6") high.

Prices are quantity based and include Value Added Tax.

1 - 5 traps per each = £5.78 - plus £5.00 carriage if sent separately, but free when dispatched with other traps.

6 - 40 traps per each = £5.19 - plus £5.00 carriage.

Over 40 traps per each = £4.80 inc. carriage.

Free carriage on quantities over 40.

‘Talpa’ mole traps

This trap, a variation on the popular ‘Talpex’ trap, was recommended to us by a customer who is a professional moleman. He was given some to try and was impressed, so much so he persuaded us to stock them. ‘Talpex’ variations/copies are now available from a variety of sources and as always some are good, others not quite so good.

We are calling this version the ‘Talpa’ to differentiate it from the others. In our opinion the slightly different spring power of this trap, combined with finger-friendly setting extensions, make it easier and less traumatic to set. It is certainly effective in use and has a heavy zinc plated finish which means it will serve you a very long time.

The ‘Talpa’ is rather more powerful and robust, and therefore heavier, than the ‘Fenn’ type we stock. It works on a different principal, having a horizontal trigger which is activated by being driven upward by the soil being pushed in front of a mole clearing a run. It is therefore especially useful against frustrating awkward moles that continually fill traps with earth. For this reason, even if you don’t want to totally change from your existing traps, they are a useful additional weapon in your armoury and well worth a try.

We are initially offering the ‘Talpa’ at the same price as we do the Fenn mole traps. Minimum purchase 10 traps.

10 - 40 traps per each = £5.19 - plus £5.00 carriage.

Over 40 traps per each = £4.80 inc. carriage.

Free carriage on quantities over 40.

All our mole traps are supplied with a thin, protective, oil based coating to protect them against rusting during storage and handling.
All traps will require de-greasing and weathering before use and come with a basic set of instructions for their use.
