Postal, Packing and Carriage Charges

Magnum Trap Co Ltd is an environmentally responsible company that seeks to manage its business activities so as to minimise their impact on the environment.

We set out to make a profit from the goods we sell and not from post and packing or carriage charges. The postage/carriage element is normally charged at cost. Small items are sent by first class Royal Mail and larger ones by carrier, currently Fedex UK , on an economy service. Next-day service is available at extra cost. Certain parts of the UK are subject to an additional carriers charge, particularly the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland etc and we will usually use a Parcel Force service for those areas to keep costs to a minimum. Overseas carriage rates will be quoted individually on request.

When you receive traps from us you may find they are in new packaging. This will be because we did not have a suitably sized used and recycled box.

Our policy is to reuse as much packaging as possible, including outer boxes. We do not reuse 'dirty' or contaminated materials. The effect of this is that you may have a re-used outer box bearing previous company names or delivery markings and, inside, your trap may be packed in crumpled old newspaper pages or dismembered damaged cardboard boxes. Be assured though, your trap will be properly cushioned to withstand the rigours of our carriers handling systems or the machinations of the Royal Mail. If you in turn can re-use the packaging in some way please do, it all helps.

If you find any damage to your trap when you receive it please contact us immediately and we will make arrangements for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible.

We are supporting our environment and at the same time keeping packaging costs to a minimum. The more we all re-use paper products, the more plants and trees our planet grows, the more squirrels and wildlife it supports, and then of course the more traps we will sell.
